Credo Packing List

Below is a guide on what to bring and what not to bring on a weekend. We are usually at a camp, which is a nice but "rustic" setting.  However, the lodging and the meeting areas are heated and air conditioned.  There is a bathroom, which includes showers, in the lodge where you will be bunking. Please inform us on your application if you have any physical needs that need accommodated for.

Casual Comfortable Clothing

Attire for the weekend is informal. Plan to dress in layers- mornings and evenings may be cooler even in the spring/summer months.

Medications

Don't forget to bring any special medications you are on, as well as a detailed list of how much of the medication you take and at what time of day. There is one teamer on each weekend who keeps track of the time and will notify you when it is time to take your medications.

A Healthy Appetite

We will provide 3 meals a day and LOTS of yummy snacks. Everything is prepared with love. Please include any dietary restrictions or allergies to food on your candidate application. You may bring your own food but it is not required of you to do so - we will do our best to ensure your dietary needs are met on the weekend.

Bedding

Single size beds are provided, but please bring your own bedding: pillows, fitted sheet and blankets or a sleeping bag. You may also bring a foam padding for the bed if you prefer a softer sleeping surface.

Toiletries

Please bring a towel, wash cloth, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, and any other cosmetic toiletries you may need. We provide basic essentials for anyone who forgets one of these items.

No Cell Phone, Camera, or watch

Phones should either be left at home, or be left turned off in your belongings. Watches should also be left at home. This is so there are no distractions for you or others from the purpose of the weekend, including the distraction of time. It is also to protect the confidentiality of anything anyone shares on the weekend, including you - so no pictures or posting of anything on social media. You will be provided an emergency contact phone # to give your family which will allow them to reach you in case of an emergency.

No Other Media Devices

Items such as CD players, games, or other media devices can distract you and others from the purpose of the weekend. We promise none of these things will be missed too much!
