We Are
MASON DIXON CREDO
Credo teaches Biblical truths and can lay the spiritual foundation of Jesus Christ as Lord, leading to healing and growth through His saving Grace...Come and see what the Lord can do!
The PurposeMason-Dixon Credo is a weekend retreat beginning on Thursday evening and closing on Sunday evening. The purpose of the Weekend is to help those who are
struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups -- or those who are impacted by someone else's struggles --to recognize and to embrace the loving, healing power of Jesus Christ. |
The GoalThe outcome of the Credo experience is a closer walk with God and a clearer understanding of surrendering our will and our lives to Him. This weekend may be the first step in your relationship with God, or it could be a next step in your relationship. We can find peace in our journey as we have a personal encounter with God. In this encounter we learn of the richness of God's love for us and our need to rely on Him. This is a gift. In this moment of light and freedom from the chains of the world and from our own behaviors and thinking, we can see clearly for the first time God's love for us and our ability to love ourselves and others.
|
The MeaningCredo is Latin for "came to believe." Beginning to believe is the most fundamental step in beginning a journey toward spiritual and emotional wholeness. Although non-denominational, Credo is Christian and seeks to provide opportunities to experience the love of our Father God; to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord (or to renew and deepen that commitment); and to experience the indwelling and empowering of the Holy Spirit.
