After the weekend
Monthly Reunion gatherings
Having experienced the blessing of new brothers or sisters, you will want to stay connected. The monthly "Reunion Gathering" is an opportunity for anyone who has attended a Credo Weekend or any other Weekend in the DeColores tradition to reunite as a Community. We sing, worship, share in small groups, listen to a talk called a "4th Day Talk" (since every day after you leave your Weekend is your 4th Day -- God's mercies are new every morning!), have Communion, and fellowship together.
Monthly Reunion Gatherings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, PA. The Gathering starts at 6:30 PM. Please wear your cross and name button to the Reunion Gathering. Feel free to invite your spouse and friends to join you. Please be aware that there is no separate childcare available, although you are welcome to bring your children.
Special Reunion Gathering
The Reunion Gathering immediately following a Credo Weekend is an extra special opportunity for fellowship. Instead of starting at the normal 6:30 PM, this one starts at 5:30 PM and includes a potluck meal. Please bring a dish (with food in it) to share with everyone.
Sharing the weekend
There are two ways to share the blessings you have received on a Weekend:
Serve on a Team
A Teamer is someone who serves on a weekend (remember all the people on your Weekend who served you? You can be a part of that for the next candidates!)
|
Sponsor a Candidate
A sponsor is someone who encourages and supports someone else in attending a Weekend. You will learn more about the role of a sponsor at the 4th Day Workshop.
|
Since both of these opportunities are a calling from the Lord, you should seek His will first.
Each of these opportunities also requires a commitment on your part. Therefore, to ensure that you understand what is being required of you, you must attend a 4th Day Workshop before serving on a Team and/or sponsoring a Candidate. 4th Day Workshops usually are offered in a 4-hour setting which allows time for worship and fellowship. The date of the 4th Day Workshop can be found in your 4th Day packet you received on your Credo Weekend. If you cannot make it on that date, please contact someone who teamed on your Weekend and they will help you get set up with a 4th Day Workshop on a different day.
